Job summary

Australian Government Consulting (AGC) within PM&C seeks graduates to join a 12-month APS3 graduate program that exposes you to policy and program delivery across Australia. You’ll support the Prime Minister, the Cabinet, and senior Ministers and work on real, impactful projects with multidisciplinary teams.

As a Consulting Graduate you’ll benefit from rotations, mentors, relocation assistance to Canberra, flexible working arrangements, and a path to permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Degree in economics, statistics, data science, finance, public policy or law
• Curious, motivated and driven to make a difference to the future of the country
• Willing to relocate to Canberra; Australian citizenship and checks as required

Responsibilities

• Support the Prime Minister, the Cabinet, Portfolio Ministers, and Assistant Ministers in the Graduate Program.
• Deliver projects that shape public policy, programs and services across Australia.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with stakeholders across government agencies to deliver evidence-based insights and practical solutions.
• Contribute to policy and program development across key economic and social priorities.
• Build understanding of Australia’s public sector and economic framework; support senior stakeholders with research and engagement.
