Job summary

Centorrino Technologies (CT) seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for a 12-month contract based onsite in Canberra. You will lead infrastructure design, implementation and ongoing support across a high‑performing technology environment, installing and decommissioning hardware and software while developing automation scripts.

Key requirements include Linux administration, system hardening, configuration management and strong troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Linux administration and system hardening.
• Experience with configuration management and automation.
• Experience installing, configuring, maintaining and decommissioning systems.
• Strong understanding of systems design, infrastructure performance and availability management.
• Ability to develop and maintain scripts for automation and infrastructure deployment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Current TSPV security clearance.
• Ability to work onsite in Canberra, with working arrangements subject to operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support across the full system development lifecycle.
• Lead infrastructure and platform design, implementation and ongoing support.
• Install, configure, maintain and decommission hardware and software.
• Design, develop, test and document scripts and programs.
• Support infrastructure integration, testing and verification activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and capability issues.
• Implement infrastructure changes, maintenance and upgrades.
• Monitor system performance, availability and reliability.
• Develop and maintain automation and configuration management processes.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning, testing and recovery procedures.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver infrastructure outcomes.
