Job summary

Centorrino Technologies (CT) seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a high-performing Canberra-based technology environment. This is a 12-month contract with potential for extension, spanning design, implementation, maintenance and support of critical infrastructure.

The successful candidate will contribute across infrastructure, systems engineering, automation and technical capability projects, with onsite work in Canberra and adherence to security requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience across infrastructure and systems engineering.
• Experience with Linux administration and system hardening.
• Experience with configuration management and automation.
• Experience installing, configuring, maintaining and decommissioning systems.
• Strong understanding of systems design, infrastructure performance and availability management.
• Ability to develop and maintain scripts for automation and infrastructure deployment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Current TSPV security clearance.
• Ability to work onsite in Canberra.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support across the full system development lifecycle.
• Lead infrastructure and platform design, implementation and ongoing support.
• Install, configure, maintain and decommission hardware and software.
• Design, develop, test and document scripts and programs.
• Support infrastructure integration, testing and verification activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and capability issues.
• Implement infrastructure changes, maintenance and upgrades.
• Monitor system performance, availability and reliability.
• Develop and maintain automation and configuration management processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver infrastructure outcomes.
