The Public Health Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Public Health Nurse to join their team on a temporary basis.

To provide public health nursing services to the Communicable Disease Control section of the Mackay Public Health Unit. This includes investigation of cases of notifiable diseases, providing information and advice on communicable disease and immunisation issues to health practitioners and the community and working with others in the team to provide a coordinated response to disease outbreaks in the Region. Other public health issues may be addressed from time to time.
