Job summary

K'gari Beach Resort (formerly Eurong Beach Resort) on 75 Mile Beach, Fraser Island, Queensland, seeks a hands-on Housekeeper to keep public areas pristine. This permanent part-time role covers early mornings, afternoons, and evenings, with a 10-day cycle and 76 hours per fortnight.

You will join a remote resort team supporting guest experiences and on‑island accessibility. The ideal candidate has prior hotel or resort cleaning experience and a keen eye for detail, along with a strong work ethic

With an unbeatable beachfront address on 75 Mile Beach, K’gari Beach Resort (formerly Eurong Beach Resort) is the hub for four-wheel-driving experiences along K'gari (Fraser Island's) east coast. This remote base is only accessible by 4WD and ignites a sense of adventure within a relaxed coastal escape. The resort includes newly renovated hotel accommodation, as well as a restaurant and bar, renowned Eurong Bakery and a general store, the expansive grounds include a relaxing swimming pool and bar.

The opportunity

Bring your hands-on approach to maintain the resort's presentation by cleaning the indoor and outdoor public areas at K'gari Beach Resort. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, an ability to keep up with the physically demanding nature of the role. and most importantly take pride in what they do!

This is a permanent part-time opportunity, working up to 76 hours per fortnight across a 10-day rostering system (4 days off). The successful candidate must be able to work a combination of shift times from early mornings, afternoons and evenings. This role will also require supporting the Housekeeping team when required with their daily duties.
