Job summary

LUXXE Outsourced Hotel Services in Canberra is seeking a Part Time Public Area Cleaner to maintain pristine hotel public spaces and contribute to a welcoming guest environment.

You will work closely with the Housekeeping team, cleaning lobbies, corridors, guest areas and facilities, and assisting guests with requests as needed. Must have flexibility for a rotating roster and be able to commit to at least four days per week.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Genuine pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Full Australian working rights.

The Role

As a Part Time Public Area Cleaner, you’ll play an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for hotel guests.

Working closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas to a high standard
• Ensuring guest areas, corridors, lobbies and facilities are clean, tidy and well-presented
• Keeping housekeeping equipment clean and in good working order
• Assisting guests with requests where possible
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive hotel housekeeping team

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred
• Genuine pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Friendly and confident when interacting with guests and hotel team members

• Willingness to commit to at least 4 days a week on a rotating roster, including morning and afternoon shifts
