Job summary

Luxxe, a proud Australian company, is hiring a Part Time Public Area Cleaner in Adelaide to help maintain spotless hotel public spaces and welcome guests with a friendly, professional approach.

You will work with the housekeeping team, cleaning lobbies, corridors and guest areas to a high standard, with shifts available across mornings and afternoons on a rotating 4-day-per-week roster, giving you flexibility while delivering outstanding presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or housekeeping is preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas to a high standard.
• Ensuring guest areas, corridors, lobbies and facilities are clean, tidy and well-presented.
• Keeping housekeeping equipment clean and in good working order.

The Role

As a Part Time Public Area Cleaner, you’ll play an important role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for hotel guests.

Working closely with the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas to a high standard
• Ensuring guest areas, corridors, lobbies and facilities are clean, tidy and well-presented
• Keeping housekeeping equipment clean and in good working order
• Assisting guests with requests where possible
• Working as part of a friendly and supportive hotel housekeeping team

Who We Are Looking For

• Enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individuals with a great attitude
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred
• Genuine pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Friendly and confident when interacting with guests and hotel team members
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Willingness to commit to at least 4 days a week on a rotating roster, including morning and afternoon shifts
