Job summary

Mental Care Clinic is seeking Psychologists (General or Clinical) for Bankstown and Symonston, with flexible days. You will perform assessments and provide evidence-based therapy to adolescents and adults, while navigating Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover, and private referrals.

An admin team supports bookings and paperwork, letting you focus on clinical care. Ideal candidates hold current AHPRA registration and have experience with assessments and culturally responsive care.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a psychologist (general registration or higher).
• Experience providing psychological treatment to adolescents and/or adults.
• Experience conducting psychological assessments.
• Caring, culturally responsive approach to client care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and develop personalised treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapy to adolescents and adults.
• Work with clients funded through Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover and private arrangements.
• Write clinical notes, treatment progress reports and correspondence for GPs, case managers, insurers and NDIS.
• Maintain AHPRA registration, CPD and supervision requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the clinical and admin team.

About the role: Bankstown

Our Bankstown clinic is growing, and we're looking for several psychologists to join the team. You'll provide assessment and therapy to adolescents and adults from a diverse local community, with flexible days that fit around your life. Our admin team takes care of bookings, referrals and paperwork, so you can focus on your clinical work.

Key responsibilities

Essential requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a psychologist (general registration or higher)
• Experience providing psychological treatment to adolescents and/or adults
• Experience conducting psychological assessments
• A caring, culturally responsive approach to client care

Desirable

• Area of practice endorsement in clinical psychology, or working towards it
• Training in CBT, ACT, DBT or EMDR
• Experience with ADHD, cognitive or learning assessments (e.g. WISC-V, WAIS)
• Experience with NDIS, WorkCover or insurer report writing
• [Bankstown only, optional] A second language spoken in the local community, such as Arabic or Vietnamese

Days and hours

Flexible. Choose from [1 to 5] days per week (flexible hours), worked on‑site at the clinic. We're happy to discuss a schedule that works for you.
