Job summary

The University of Western Australia invites applications for a Registered Psychologist to support student mental health and wellbeing within the Psychology Team of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Service. You will deliver evidence‑based counselling, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to safety planning in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

This is a full‑time appointment with pro‑rata arrangements.

Qualifications

• Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA and substantial experience delivering counselling and psychological services.
• Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, safety planning, and evidence‑based therapeutic interventions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence‑based psychological and counselling interventions to support student mental health and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic student care.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team with a focus on development, best practice, and student‑centred care.
