Job summary

The Top End Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (TEMHAODS) in Darwin, part of the Northern Territory Government, is recruiting Psychiatry Registers for fixed 12-month terms. The role involves clinical service delivery, training with RANZCP, and maintaining patient records.

Qualifications

• Eligibility for APHRA registration and RANZCP
• Understanding of inpatient and community mental health services
• Experience in admission, management and discharge of patients

Responsibilities

• Admit, manage and discharge patients under supervision of Psychiatry Director
• Maintain appropriate client records and comply with policies
• Participate in after-hours on-call roster and psychiatric training program
