Job summary

The Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications, Sport and the Arts is seeking a security lead to oversee physical and personnel security activities across the department, coordinate security risk reviews and Site Security Plans across all departmental sites, including sites outside Canberra.

You will drive continuous uplift in security governance, assurance and compliance, and build trusted relationships with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander

Qualifications

• Experience with protective security programs or risk reviews.
• Knowledge of security governance, assurance and compliance.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple sites including outside Canberra.

Responsibilities

• Manage protective security contracts and service agreements.
• Support security budget management.
• Coordinate Protective Security Risk Reviews and Site Security Plans across all departmental sites, including sites outside Canberra.
• Drive remediation, assurance and compliance improvements.
