Maroondah City Council in Melbourne, Australia is seeking a Property Advisor to support the effective management of the council’s property portfolio, including leases, licences, acquisitions, disposals, easements and related matters.

Reporting to the Property, Revenue and Valuation Services team, you will respond to inquiries, maintain records, comply with legislation, and assist with property projects and commercial opportunities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in property/land administration.
• Experience coordinating property transactions such as leases, acquisitions or disposals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and local government property practices.

Responsabilités

• Respond to property enquiries and provide professional advice to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with leases, licences, acquisitions, disposals, easements and planning referrals.
• Maintain an allocated portfolio of leases and licences, including renewals and documentation.
• Prepare reports, briefs, correspondence and supporting documentation relating to Council land and property.
• Support delivery of property sales, acquisitions and other approved property projects.
• Maintain accurate property information and data in Council’s systems.
• Assist with surplus land, road discontinuances, rights of way, and other assets.
• Collaborate with the team on addressing, naming and mapping matters.
