Job summary

Pathway Property Law, part of the Pathway Group, is seeking a dynamic lawyer to become Junior Partner and Head of Growth. You will own service delivery and drive growth, leading a team in residential conveyancing and expanding the practice beyond Melbourne.

You will build relationships with real estate agencies, brokers and referral partners, capitalising on the Pathway Group network. Equity-based ownership opportunities are offered with performance-based terms.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years PQE in property law / conveyancing.
• Wills and estates experience is desirable but not essential.
• Business development mindset: sales, relationships and market presence.
• Ability to supervise, delegate and manage a process rather than performing every task yourself.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team on residential conveyancing from start to finish.
• Oversee contract reviews and client communications via the support team.
• Provide property law advice on complex matters.
• Oversee ILA certificates, SMSF/bare trust matters and off-the-plan contracts.
• Uphold quality, compliance and an outstanding client experience.
• Grow external client base beyond Pathway Group and build long-term relationships with agencies, brokers and partners.
• Drive cross-referrals across Pathway Group services.
• Lead expansion into other states and commercial property matters.
• Get out into the market through networking, events and client engagement.
