You will manage a team of six Managers and Supervisors across multiple functions, ensuring performance, accountability and service delivery in a complex government environment.

The role provides strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement with Defence and government partners, and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement across the North Queensland

About the Position

The Property Asset Services Manager will provide senior leadership across defence property and asset operations at a major defence base in Townsville. Managing a team of six Managers and Supervisors, the role will oversee multiple operational functions, manage competing stakeholder priorities and drive team performance. The successful candidate will be a confident leader capable of navigating complex environments, managing ambiguity and empowering their team while maintaining accountability and service delivery standards.

• Experience managing competing priorities, complex stakeholder relationships and challenging operational environments.
• Ability to make decisions and lead effectively in ambiguous environments where established processes may be limited.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Defence, military or government experience, with an understanding of public sector environments, will be highly regarded.
