Job summary

Bugden Allen Group Legal is seeking an experienced paralegal in Brisbane to support a small, collaborative team of lawyers focused on property, development, and strata matters.

You will assist with development work, conveyancing, by-laws, titling, and litigation support, with opportunities to grow into a legal career. The role is based in our new Brisbane office and offers a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a law firm required.
• Experience handling property/real estate matters.
• Meticulous and well-organised approach to work.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team harmony.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with development work, including drafting contracts for sale, by-laws and titling documents.
• Assisting with developer off the plan conveyancing practice; prior conveyancing exposure is a plus.
• Preparing by-law consolidations.
• Organising and maintaining document precedents.
• Working with disputes team on litigation matters, including court documents and briefs.
• Conducting online searches such as title and company searches.
• Assisting with preparing fee proposals.
• Assisting with research.
• Supporting lawyers and office manager with end-of-month billing as needed.
• Attending local courts to file documents.
• Other general administrative duties as directed.
