Job summary

Cyient is a global engineering and technology solutions company seeking a Property Consultant to assess lease agreements and greenfield siting opportunities. You will advise the team on property matters and negotiate leases within guidelines to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include co-location processes, gaining construction access, securing tenure for telecom facilities, and compliance with EH&S and client specifications, while maintaining strong stakeholder relations across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in property, leases, and telecom siting is preferred.
• Strong negotiation, advisory, and stakeholder-management skills.

• Undertaking property desktop assessments of existing lease agreements or potential greenfield siting opportunities.
• Provide property advice to other team members.
• Negotiate leases/licences within guidelines and agreed timelines.
• Undertake the co-location process.
• Gain construction access for installation teams.
• Identify and secure formal tenure for telecommunication facilities.
• Recommend strategies and processes to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Environment Health & Safety requirements.
• Execute all SAED activities for allocated works.
• Ensure works comply with relevant statutory legislation, standards and client technical specifications.
• Understand design elements of wireless base stations and planning approval framework.
• Ensure implementation schedules and guidelines are followed and enforced.
• Regular progress reporting internally and externally as required.
• Maintain a good working relationship with all stakeholders and disciplines involved in the project.

• Maintaining a good working relationship with all stakeholders and all disciplines involved in the project.

Under general direction, responsible for complex tasks typically relating to network monitoring, operations, installation, and/or maintenance for local, off‑site, and/or remote locations. May function as lead position in the absence of the Supervisor, but would not have ongoing lead responsibility. Typically requires four to eight years of network experience and continuing education network/telecom courses/technical seminars.
