Mount Perry Propane in Australia seeks a Field Installer to safely install propane tanks, meet NFPA and local codes, and document work accurately in real time. You will join a team serving families, farms, and businesses with reliable propane systems.

The role emphasizes practical field experience, strong communication, and a commitment to safety while supporting delivery operations and customer service in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of propane, HVAC, or related field experience.
• Valid Class B CDL.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Familiarity with NFPA codes and propane installation regulations.
• Customer-facing experience and strong communication skills.
• On-call or field service experience.
• Basic computer skills for documenting service orders.
• Tanker and/or Hazmat endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Install propane tanks in compliance with all state and local regulations, including NFPA 58 and 54.
• Maintain CDL credentials and complete licensing or certification training as needed.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep truck/equipment in good order.
• Accurately complete and submit service orders and billing documentation daily.
• Document and invoice parts used according to pricing and proposals.
• Support delivery operations by driving a delivery vehicle when needed.
• Report incidents or safety concerns to the General Manager.
• Participate in on-call coverage, including evenings or extended hours.
• Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment up to 75 pounds.
