As a Systems Accountant, you will act as the vital link between finance and technology, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and performance of financial systems. You’ll play a key role in optimising systems and processes, supporting reporting functions, and driving continuous improvement across the finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the integrity of financial and ERP systems, ensuring accurate reconciliations across ledgers and modules
• Lead system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations in collaboration with IT and external vendors
• Develop and deliver accurate financial and management reports, dashboards, and analytics
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related issues while implementing long-term solutions
• Review, document, and improve accounting processes and internal controls
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes with system reconciliations and analysis
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency
• Provide user training and guidance on financial systems and reporting tools

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA or CPA qualification preferred
• 3+ years of experience in accounting roles with a focus on financial systems or systems accounting (implementations and/or upgrades)
• High-level Pronto experience is a must-have
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to translate financial requirements into system solutions
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
