Job summary

Greater Hume Council is seeking a Projects Operator to join our Project Team delivering civil and infrastructure works across the Greater Hume region. The role involves outdoor work, operating and maintaining plant and equipment, and contributing to the safety, quality and efficiency of our projects.

You will work with an experienced ganger and a small crew, focusing on signage, concrete works, drainage maintenance and overall project delivery.

Join Our Engineering Team

Greater Hume Council is seeking a motivated and reliable Projects Operator to join our dynamic Project Team delivering a diverse range of civil and infrastructure projects across the Greater Hume region. Working alongside an experienced Ganger and a small, supportive crew, this hands-on role contributes to projects that directly improve the safety, functionality and appearance of our communities. From signage installation and concrete works to footpath upgrades and drainage maintenance, no two days are the same. This position offers the opportunity to operate a variety of Council-owned and hired plant and equipment while developing your skills across a broad range of civil construction and maintenance activities. About the Role

Key duties include:

This position is based at Council's Culcairn Works Depot and works 38 hours per week on a 9-day fortnight. The salary range is $1,197.90 to $1,341.60 gross per week, plus 12% superannuation.
