Vault Minerals is seeking a Projects Crew member to construct and maintain underground infrastructure at Deflector operations, 160 km east of Geraldton. This role supports safe, efficient underground workings and involves working on a 14:14 roster with Perth/DIDO options from Geraldton area.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in underground service or projects crew operations.
• Skilled in operating EWP and ITC machinery.
• Holds WA Manual Driver’s Licence, Senior First Aid, Working at Heights, DGSC, and Level 1–2 Isolation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain underground infrastructure.
• Execute mining civil projects including fan chambers, pumpstations, and substations.
• Form and pour concrete pads; build ventilation controls and shotcrete walls.
• Set up underground backfill locations and CAF mixing.
• Hang secondary fans; install ladderways; undertake special labour projects.

The Projects Crew member plays a vital role in construction, maintaining and supporting underground infrastructure.

Deflector Operation consists of two high-grade, narrow vein Gold/Copper mines, located 160 km east of Geraldton. The ore is contained in a series of structurally complex lodes, namely the Deflector and Deflector Southwest deposits.

Reporting to the Underground Supervisor, the Projects Crew member plays a vital role in construction, maintaining and supporting underground infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Constructing & maintaining underground infrastructure.
• Executing mining civil projects including fan chambers, pumpstations, and substations.
• Forming and pouring concrete pads.
• Building ventilation controls and shotcrete walls.
• Setting up underground backfill locations and mixing Cement Aggregate Fill (CAF).
• Hanging secondary fans.
• Installing underground ladderways.
• Undertaking special labour projects underground.
• Installing and maintaining underground services including ventilation ducting, poly and steel pipes and electrical services.
• Assisting with scheduled inspections, servicing, and troubleshooting of underground services
• Operating underground service vehicles including Integrated Tool Carriers, Agitator Trucks, and Elevated Work Platforms.

About You

• 1+ year experience in underground service or projects crew operations.
• Skilled in operating EWP and ITC machinery.
• Holds WA Manual Driver’s Licence,
• Senior First Aid
• Working at Heights
• DGSC.
• Site-inducted in Level 1 & 2 Isolation procedures.
