The Council on the Gold Coast seeks a Project and Transaction Lead to identify and develop new opportunities, assess feasibility, and drive pragmatic projects with positive economic, social, and environmental impacts for the city. This is a fixed-term two-year contract with a 9 Day Fortnight and a 36-hour work week, offering hybrid/work-from-home options and strong governance processes.

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management or related discipline with demonstrated relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate at the highest levels in both public and private sectors
• Strong leadership qualities with ability to motivate resources and influence others
• Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders to deliver new project opportunities for the Gold Coast

Responsabilidades

• Manage project and commercial transactions from feasibility, business case development, planning, design, procurement and delivery of key city building and economic development works
• Develop, administer and manage complex projects and resources to meet deadlines
• Identify and evaluate significant project ideas into viable proposals for economic development outcomes
• Apply analytical skills and sound judgment to develop innovative solutions
• Produce high-quality committee reports and recommendations and seek approvals
• Prepare reports and presentations and undertake consultation with Council, government agencies, communities and stakeholders
