Qualifications

• 8 years of senior engineering experience.
• Knowledge of the Product Life Cycle.
• Experience with Australian Defence technical regulation frameworks and standards.
• Experience of project/program execution within ASDEFCON.
• Bachelor's or Postgraduate Degree in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical scope, feasibility, design, and assembly—ensuring the project remains in scope, and quality and safety standards are met.
• Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and quality records.
• Act as the prime technical conduit within Engineering and other stakeholders.
• Develop and implement strategies that maximise project success.
• Work collaboratively within a project team and maintain relationships across engineering disciplines and business units.
• Crucial role in planning and delivery of multidisciplinary projects.
• Coordinate the engineering tasks and body of work.
• Lead projects to plan and lead project decision-making processes.
• Perform project assessment and control.
• Provide technical support to site teams.
• Manage risks arising from Engineering and/or impacting Engineering.
• Manage Configuration Baselines and ensure delivery of Technical Data to customers.

• Act as the prime technical conduit within the Engineering and at times other stakeholders within the rest of the business (programs, supply, security, finance).
• Develop and implement strategies that maximise project success.
• Work collaboratively within a project team, providing and maintaining key relationships between engineering disciplines, and broader business units.

• Proven experience in the project/program execution within the ASDEFCON framework
• A Bachelor's or Post Graduate Degree within an Engineering Discipline
