Job summary

NINE LAND AND ENGINEERING SURVEYORS is seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to join our Canberra team on a full-time basis. You will manage all aspects of surveying projects from planning through to delivery, ensuring accuracy and quality across fieldwork, plans, and reports.

The ideal candidate has a tertiary qualification in surveying and at least two years’ experience in construction surveying, with strong knowledge of surveying equipment and software, and excellent communication to liaise

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Project Surveyor in construction.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, equipment and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Prepare survey plans and technical reports.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to manage project activities.

NINE LAND AND ENGINEERING SURVEYORS' are seeking an experienced Project Surveyor to join their team in Canberra on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of surveying projects, from initial planning through to final delivery, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy and quality are maintained.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting detailed site surveys and investigations to gather accurate data.
• Preparing survey plans, reports, and other technical documentation.
• Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals to coordinate project activities.
• Overseeing and managing the work of junior surveyors and technicians.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
• Continuously improving processes and implementing new technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Project Surveyor in the construction industry,
• Thorough understanding of surveying principles, equipment, and software.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality
