Full-time 12 month fixed-term opportunity based at Jetstar Head Office in Collingwood

Our Customer teams are curious and creative – always seeking new ways to deliver Jetstar’s customer strategy and keep our brand connected to our passengers. Their knowledge of our passengers is paired with expertise in driving revenue. They use insight-led campaigns to enhance our revenue and enable more people to fly more often.

As the Project Specialist, you will facilitate the cross-functional delivery of project initiatives for the Jetstar customer and commercial functions from idea to implementation. Reporting to the Manager, Customer Transformation, and working alongside Project Managers, you will support the coordination and delivery of project milestones and objectives, ensuring all aspects of change management are achieved at both Group and Airline levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver project responsibilities on time, within budget, and to specifications
  • Provide key status reports and updates to steering committees and executives
  • Build financial models, project plans, presentations, and communications
  • Manage and escalate project risks according to the Qantas Group Risk Framework
  • Document and organize all project-related materials, ensuring compliance with laws and policies
  • Analyze financial scenarios to evaluate benefits and costs of strategies and projects
  • Define and write business rules and requirements
  • Develop budgets, targets, KPIs, and manage project data reports
  • Lead discovery workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to define problems and solutions

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

  • Previous project management experience including risk and change management capabilities
  • Experience working with international stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Smartsheet & Confluence preferred
  • Formal project management certifications such as PMBOK or Prince2 are desirable
