Reporting directly to the Project Director, you'll be at the heart of delivering safe, high-quality, and on-time outcomes while leading teams, managing contractors, and building strong stakeholder relationships. This role would suit a candidate who has previous experience as a Site Manager who ideally has carried out duties associated with the Principal Contractor role, managing multiple contractors. Mobility will be key, moving around to various site locations in regional Queensland. Your primary responsibilities will include:
To be successful in this role we are seeking candidates with a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management with a minimum of 10 years in site management, preferably within the renewable energy sector delivering solar farm projects. We are however open to candidates who come from a different sector background who have extensive experience as a Site Manager. You will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and will have the ability to understand electrical design drawings, circuit diagrams and all inspection and testing. A strong knowledge of Australian construction standards, HSEQ regulations and environmental compliance is also required.
