Job summary

PROTECH is seeking a seasoned Project Scheduler to join the Offshore Support Team at Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal. You will develop, integrate, and manage schedules for projects, shutdowns, maintenance, and operations to ensure safe, efficient delivery within live facilities.

The role requires strong CPM, resource loading, and baseline management skills, plus experience in brownfield projects, permits-to-work systems, and offshore interfaces.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ planning and scheduling experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within mining, ports, bulk handling, or heavy industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with shutdown and brownfield project scheduling.
  • Experience integrating maintenance, operations, and project delivery schedules.
  • Proven ability to work within live operational facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, integrate, and manage project, shutdown, maintenance, and operational schedules to support safe and efficient project delivery.
  • Coordinate scheduling interfaces between maintenance, operations and project delivery.
  • Maintain baseline schedules and provide progress reporting and forecasting.

Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal – Project Scheduler – Offshore Support Team

6-Month Contract | Monday–Friday | 40–50 Hours Per Week

Onsite with Flexible Working Arrangements

Local Candidates Only – Must live in the Mackay/Sarina region

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join the team at Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal. Working within a complex operational environment, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and managing project, shutdown, maintenance, and operational schedules to support safe and efficient project delivery.

Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years’ planning and scheduling experience.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within mining, ports, bulk handling, or heavy industry.
  • Demonstrated experience with shutdown and brownfield project scheduling.
  • Experience integrating maintenance, operations, and project delivery schedules.
  • Proven ability to work within live operational facilities.
Technical Skills
