Job summary

Showtime Consulting is looking for an experienced Scheduler to plan, coordinate and schedule delivery activities across government and enterprise initiatives in Australia and New Zealand.

You will develop and maintain integrated project schedules, monitor dependencies, and provide scheduling insights to enable successful delivery outcomes. You will collaborate with Project Managers, Delivery Leads, and client stakeholders across a portfolio of concurrent engagements.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining project or program schedules within complex delivery environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project and program schedules across multiple client engagements.
  • Work with Project Managers, Program Managers, Delivery Managers, and technical teams to capture, sequence, and schedule delivery activities.
  • Establish and maintain project baselines, milestones, dependencies, and critical path analysis.
  • Monitor schedule performance and identify risks, issues, bottlenecks, and impacts to delivery timelines.
  • Produce schedule reports, dashboards, and progress updates for internal and client stakeholders.
  • Support governance forums through the preparation and presentation of schedule status information.
  • Ensure alignment between project schedules, resource plans, and delivery priorities.
  • Participate in project planning workshops and scheduling reviews.
  • Coordinate schedule changes and communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support pursuit and bid activities through delivery scheduling and planning inputs.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to support the planning, coordination, and scheduling of delivery activities across multiple government and enterprise initiatives.
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining integrated project and program schedules, supporting delivery governance activities, monitoring dependencies and risks, and providing scheduling insights that enable successful delivery outcomes. You will work closely with Project Managers, Program Managers, Delivery Leads, technical teams, and client stakeholders across a portfolio of concurrent engagements.

What You'll Need
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining project or program schedules within complex delivery environments.
  • Experience working with Project Managers, Program Managers, and delivery teams to support planning activities.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling principles, milestones, dependencies, and critical path analysis.
  • Experience monitoring schedule health and identifying delivery risks, issues, and impacts.
  • Experience preparing schedule reports, dashboards, governance packs, and progress updates.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects and initiatives.
  • Experience with scheduling and portfolio management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting government, defence, or highly regulated delivery environments would be highly regarded.
  • Experience contributing to bid, proposal, implementation, or transition planning activities would be highly regarded.
