Snowy Hydro is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join the Snowy 2.0 team on a 4-year fixed-term contract. The on-site role will drive programme management, monitor ongoing works, and manage interfaces between contractors and major work packages.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering, advanced Primavera P6 skills, and strong EV/cost reporting capabilities. FIFO 14/7 to Lobs Hole site with standard camp facilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering is required.
• Advanced Primavera P6 scheduling experience is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Earned Value management and cost reporting is required.
• Experience on mega construction projects with complex interfaces is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed programmes for owner teams and projects.
• Identify risks, run what-if scenarios, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Interface with contractors and subcontractors during site and construction meetings.
• Track performance with KPIs, lookahead schedules, and earned value analysis.
• Support in analysing delay and disruption claims from planning and commercial perspectives.

About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Project Planner to join the Snowy 2.0 team on a 4-year fixed-term contract. In this pivotal on-site role, you will be instrumental in driving programme management, monitoring ongoing works, and navigating complex interfaces between contractors and major work packages. Key Responsibilities

• Programme Management: Assist in developing, maintaining, and monitoring detailed programmes for owner teams and support projects.
• Risk & Scenario Analysis: Identify key risks, propose mitigation strategies, and develop what-if scenarios using tools like Primavera P6 and ALICE.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact for the owner's team, interfacing with contractors (such as FGJV and Voith) and subcontractors during site and construction meetings.
• Performance Tracking: Develop, maintain, and report on key KPIs, lookahead programmes, and earned value analysis.
• Claims & Variations: Support the team in analyzing and responding to delay and disruption claims from a planning and commercial perspective.

About the location

This role is located at our Lobs Hole site working a 14/7 FIFO roster. Standard camp amenities apply.

About You

• Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Construction or Engineering.
• Experience: Previous experience in Project Planning on mega construction projects with multidisciplinary interdependencies and complex interfaces. (Hydropower experience highly regarded)
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Primavera P6, Power BI, and exposure to AI-enabled planning/scheduling packages (such as Acumen 360 and 4D scheduling).
• Commercial Acumen: A solid understanding of Cost and Earned Value management, construction data structures, and digital reporting systems.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities, with a proven capability to deliver under pressure in a multi-cultural, on-site team environment.
