Job summary

Rauland Australia and New Zealand is seeking an exceptional Project Operations Manager to lead the VIC & TAS project portfolio, driving operational excellence, commercial performance and delivery outcomes across a complex healthcare technology portfolio.

You'll lead a multidisciplinary team and build the delivery foundations that support long-term growth, while staying close to operations and nurturing trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders across VIC & TAS.

As Project Operations Manager, you'll be accountable for the performance, governance and commercial success of a substantial healthcare technology project portfolio across VIC & TAS, overseeing a diverse mix of concurrent projects varying in scale, complexity, stakeholder profile and commercial value.

Leading a multidisciplinary team of Project Managers, Site Leaders and delivery professionals, you'll bring visibility, structure and rhythm to a portfolio of complex projects while ensuring strong customer outcomes, sustainable financial performance and long‑term growth.

You will have led project portfolios and multidisciplinary delivery teams, rather than solely managing individual projects, bringing a broader operational and commercial perspective to project delivery.

You’ll bring:

• Demonstrated success leading complex project portfolios within healthcare technology, systems integration, ICT infrastructure, building automation, security technology, smart buildings, commercial construction environments or similar delivery sectors.
• Proven hands‑on leadership experience coaching, motivating and developing high‑performing project and operational teams.
• Strong commercial acumen across forecasting, revenue, margin management, governance and project risk.
• A track record of delivering complex projects while maintaining strong customer relationships and commercial outcomes.
