The ANU College of Science and Medicine is looking for a Project Officer to provide day-to-day operational and administrative support to our Schools during an exciting period of change. Reporting to the Manager, General Administration Team, and working closely with the Senior Project Officer, you'll be part of a collaborative team supporting the College and its Schools as centralised University services transition and stabilise.
You will provide flexible, day-to-day administrative support across general, student and local operational matters — including Research (including HDR), Education, WHS and Campus Environment — responding to enquiries, drafting correspondence and reports, and providing broader administrative and secretarial support including, student and HDR administration and office coordination.
You're a natural problem-solver who enjoys variety, juggles competing priorities with ease, and builds good working relationships across a busy team.
You'll bring relevant administrative experience in a complex environment, strong customer service and communication skills, and excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. You're adaptable, exercise sound judgement through change, are confident with the MS Office suite and online systems, and are committed to equal opportunity principles.
This position sits within the ANU College of Science and Medicine's General Administration team and is designed to provide support across the College's Schools. The role may be embedded within a School, but works flexibly across the College, partnering with School and College staff to provide administrative continuity and support during a period of change.
