Job summary

City of Coffs Harbour is seeking a Project Manager Water & Waste to lead critical capital projects shaping the Coffs Coast’s future. You will manage end-to-end delivery, coordinate diverse teams and partners, and drive value for the community.

The role offers a permanent full-time position with a 35-hour week, flexible work arrangements, and a brand-new office at Yarrila Place. You’ll join a collaborative team delivering sustainable, reliable water and waste services.

• Experience delivering infrastructure projects and achieving successful outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder and contract management skills.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in civil, water, wastewater or waste infrastructure.

About the role

Help shape the infrastructure that underpins the future of the Coffs Coast. As Project Manager Water & Waste, you'll lead the delivery of essential projects that support community growth, environmental sustainability and reliable water and waste services for years to come. Working across a diverse portfolio of capital works, you'll bring together stakeholders, technical specialists and delivery partners to turn ideas into infrastructure that creates lasting value for the community. Combining strategic influence with end-to-end project ownership, this role offers the challenge, variety and professional satisfaction that comes from delivering infrastructure that people rely on every day.

About you

You're an experienced project professional with a track record of delivering infrastructure projects and achieving successful outcomes. You bring strong stakeholder and contract management skills, sound commercial judgement and the ability to navigate complex challenges with confidence. As a collaborative and solutions-focused leader, you're equally comfortable working with technical specialists, contractors and senior stakeholders to bring projects to life. Relevant tertiary qualifications, together with experience in civil, water, wastewater or waste infrastructure, will position you well for success in this role.

What’s on offer?

• Competitive Salary (from $114,518.88 to 120,546.19 p/a) depending on your capabilities and experience + 12% superannuation
• This position attracts an additional 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance
