Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks a Project Manager based in Sydney or Melbourne to lead HV transmission projects, coordinating with data centers, industrial, renewables and utilities.

You will own project execution phases for HV products and transformer orders, manage stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will work within a multidisciplinary Grid Technologies team delivering reliable energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in project and contract management within electrical utility or transmission industries.
• Knowledge of high voltage switchgear (air and gas insulated) and transformers.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems and manage complex, stringent processes.
• Ability to communicate with various stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Own the project execution phases (PM080-PM670) for HV products and transformer orders/projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce risk across projects.

Job description

Based in either Sydney or Melbourne, the role of Project Manager is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to work with a variety of transmission products and stakeholders in a distributed environment. You will have the ability to make a difference in a growing industry working with a range of customers including data centers, industrial, renewables and utilities. The role, reporting to the Operations Manager, will include full accountability of the project execution phases (PM080-PM670) for your High Voltage products and Transformer orders / projects.

What You Bring

• Experience in project & contract management, within the electrical utility and/or transmission industry,
• Knowledge of high voltage switchgear (Air and Gas Insulated) as well as transformers,

• Ability to communicate with various stakeholder groups
• Proven track record of achieving consistent outstanding results.
