Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced Project Manager based in Australia (Sydney or Melbourne) to lead HV transmission projects and transformer orders. You will oversee project execution phases with strong coordination across customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes leadership, problem solving, and clear communication with diverse stakeholders in a growing energy sector focused on decarbonization and grid modernization.

Qualifications

• Experience in project & contract management within the electrical utility and/or transmission industry.
• Knowledge of high voltage switchgear (Air and Gas Insulated) as well as transformers.
• Proven ability to solve problems and manage complex, stringent processes.
• Ability to communicate with various stakeholder groups.
• Proven track record of achieving outstanding results.

Responsibilities

• Take full accountability of the project execution phases (PM080-PM670) for HV products and transformer orders.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead project governance, risk, and change management across multi-site deployments.

Based in either Sydney or Melbourne, the role of Project Manager is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to work with a variety of transmission products and stakeholders in a distributed environment. You will have the ability to make a difference in a growing industry working with a range of customers including data centers, industrial, renewables and utilities. The role, reporting to the Operations Manager, will include full accountability of the project execution phases (PM080-PM670) for your High Voltage products and Transformer orders / projects.
