Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group in Kurri Kurri, NSW is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of sustaining and capital projects. Reporting to the Lead Projects, you will drive end-to-end delivery, ensure safety, on-time completion, and adherence to budget while navigating complexity across diverse assets.

The role requires 5+ years of capital/sustaining project delivery, strong contractor engagement, and proven budget, schedule, and risk management capabilities.

Qualifications

About You

We are looking for a practical project professional with a strong delivery focus and the ability to navigate complexity.

You may come from a background in:

• Project Delivery
• Mining
• Fixed Plant or Mobile Equipment
• Civil Construction
• Heavy Manufacturing
• Maintenance and Shutdowns
• Operations or Logistics
• Trades or Construction Supervision

While engineering qualifications may be beneficial, this is not a design engineering role. We are particularly interested in candidates who have successfully coordinated and delivered projects within operational, maintenance, construction, or manufacturing environments. Formal project management qualifications will be highly regarded.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years' experience managing capital and/or sustaining projects.
• Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong contractor management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, and risk.
• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• Experience working within industrial, manufacturing, mining, maintenance, or construction environments.
