Job summary

• Competence in logistics management to coordinate resources, materials and scheduling across sites.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, project management, transport planning, or related discipline.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills, in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies including risk, schedule and cost management.

Role Description The Project Manager – Rail will oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of rail infrastructure projects for government and transport clients. In this full-time, hybrid role based in Melbourne, VIC, you will manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and risks while working closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders; some work from home is acceptable. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading project meetings, tracking progress against milestones, preparing reports and documentation, supporting procurement and logistics activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. You will be expected to identify and resolve issues, manage dependencies across multiple workstreams, and maintain clear communication with clients and partners throughout the project lifecycle.
