Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Project Manager to support large-scale health projects in Australia, collaborating with Senior Project Managers and Directors through planning, design, procurement and construction stages.

You will manage stakeholder relationships, budgets and schedules across multiple projects, ensuring client requirements are met and risks are mitigated in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in PM or related field.
• 3–5 years of Project Management experience (consultancy or client side preferred).
• Experience in health sector is advantageous, with brownfield or live construction exposure.

Responsibilities

• Assist and manage projects and programs as the key client interface.
• Maintain complex stakeholder relationships and drive projects to completion.
• Develop working relationships, problem solving and value-driven delivery.
• Manage multiple project budgets and advise on options to keep budgets on track.
• Oversee project plans, schedules, costs and risk management across programmes.
• Lead project meetings with clients and consultants and report progress.

We are looking for Project Manager to support large scale health projects, working with the Senior Project manager/Directors to deliver the facility planning, design, procurement, and construction phases. Your responsibilities includes:

• To Support and managing projects and programs as the key client interface


• Managing complex and diverse stakeholder relationships


• Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion


• Managing multiple project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track


• Managing the project delivery process across multiple projects and programmes to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations


• Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.


• Managing project timelines, risks and reporting


• Chairing project meetings with clients and consultants


• Analysing and defining future programme and portfolio strategies


• Being engaged with marketing and business development initiatives


• Drivingbusiness outcomes alongside project outcomes.

Qualifications

• A recognised Degree or equivalent qualification relating to a technical field: Project Management, Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, Cost Management


• 3 to 5 years of Project Management experience (consultancy or client side preferred)


• Experience in the health sector is a , with experience in brownfield, live construction, and or mental health facility advantageous


• Existing Australian workrights is ideal.


• Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment


• Technical ability to lead and manage complex projects and programs as the key client interface


• Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly a command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills


• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team


• Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client.
