MPAU Technology in Melbourne is seeking a Project Manager for Operational Technology to lead OT projects from scoping through delivery, on time and to budget. You will coordinate with internal teams and external service providers to ensure safe, compliant outcomes and effective handovers.

The role requires experience delivering technology projects, proficiency in planning, scheduling, and reporting, and familiarity with asset management software such as Maximo or SAP.

Formación

• Experience managing technology projects through planning, delivery and implementation.
• Competency-based project management certification is desirable (PMP, AIPM, PRINCE).
• Ability to develop practical project plans, schedules and milestones.
• Experience coordinating project activities across internal stakeholders.
• Strong capability in monitoring progress and maintaining delivery documentation.
• Ability to communicate project updates, actions and delivery considerations clearly.
• Experience identifying project issues and coordinating appropriate follow-up actions.
• Experience with asset management systems such as Maximo or SAP is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure OT projects are successfully scoped/defined, priced, scheduled, managed/delivered by OTMPD Service Providers and closed.
• Provide project management expertise to other portfolios within the organisation as required
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify, define and organise interdependent scope delivered by others to enable successful OTMPD project delivery.
• Maintain engagement with OT Service Provider's, project sponsors, governance committees and any internal/external stakeholders to facilitate project delivery and required handovers.
• Ensure compliance for control system projects and that external providers deliver on project outcomes.
• Manage project risks and escalation to governance committees and sponsors as required.
• Manage monthly financial, scheduling and other reporting aspects of OT projects.
• Manage Service Provider performance in delivery of OT projects and maintenance services.
• Review and approve Service Provider contractual claims, managing disputes and escalating issues to the appropriate governance and steering committee's where required.
• Identify, lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to support best practice project and program delivery.
• Drive generative safety culture on projects.

The Project Manager is accountable to the Program Manager OT Maintenance & Project Delivery for managing projects in the Operational Technology Maintenance and Project Delivery program. They will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, utilising the Service Provider's and other business support functions to deliver OT projects safely, efficiently, on time, to budget and meet the required business quality and functional requirements.

Our client operates in the Industrial sector in Melbourne and our going through a significant transformation in the Operational Technology.

Description

• Ensure OT projects are successfully scoped/defined, priced, scheduled, managed/delivered by OTMPD Service Providers and closed.

Profile
