Nordex is seeking a Project Manager – Operational Readiness to join its Project Management organisation in Oceania. The role focuses on strengthening frameworks, processes, governance and tools while aligning global standards with local requirements across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within project management, project controls, operational readiness, PMO or project delivery environments.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, energy, construction or similarly complex projects.
• Strong understanding of project governance, processes, controls and project lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated experience developing or improving project management frameworks and processes.
• Ability to work effectively across regional and global teams and influence multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience within renewable energy, wind or major infrastructure projects would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Establish and continuously improve the Project Management Readiness framework across Oceania projects.
• Develop and implement project delivery processes, governance structures, project controls and best-practice standards aligned with Nordex global requirements.
• Ensure project teams are fully prepared for project execution through effective readiness reviews and planning.
• Act as the interface between global and regional Project Management teams, adapting global standards to local requirements.
• Identify gaps, risks and opportunities across project delivery processes and implement practical improvements.
• Support project teams with standardised tools, templates, reporting and governance.
• Drive consistency and operational excellence across the project lifecycle.
• Capture lessons learned and embed continuous improvement across future projects.
• Support the implementation and adoption of new Project Management systems, processes and initiatives.

About the Role

Morson Edge is working exclusively with Nordex to recruit a Project Manager – Operational Readiness to join its Project Management organisation. As part of Nordex’s continued growth across Oceania, this newly created role will focus on strengthening the frameworks, processes, governance and tools that underpin successful project delivery. Acting as the link between Nordex’s global and regional teams, you will adapt and optimise global project management practices for the Australian and New Zealand markets, while driving greater consistency, operational readiness and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle. This is an opportunity to have a broad impact across Nordex’s project portfolio rather than being responsible for the delivery of a single project.

Key Responsibilities
