Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Project Manager to lead Medium Voltage client projects in Australia. You will deliver in line with the Eaton PM Model, manage client/stakeholder relationships, run risk reviews with PMO, coordinate internal and external resources, and provide fortnightly progress updates.

The role requires strong communication, detail orientation and an autonomous work style. Collaborate with engineering teams, ensure budget adherence, and maintain schedules while maintaining a focus on safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management in electrical industry.
• Sound knowledge of project systems, tools and methodologies (e.g., SAP).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated, reliable and independent team member.
• Solid organization and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and strong logical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects in accordance with the Eaton Project Management Model.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships and escalate as required.
• Perform risk management and review with PMO to minimize risks.
• Review financial obligations, time bars, bank guarantees and ensure compliance.
• Discuss technical challenges with engineering and ensure prompt resolution.
• Coordinate and manage project resources (internal and subcontractors) effectively.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for project execution.
• Develop a detailed project plan and schedule to track progress and provide fortnightly updates.
• Measure project performance using systems, tools, and techniques.

We are looking for a project manager to lead and manage Medium Voltage (MV) customer projects and services, ensuring on time delivery, budget maintenance and superior customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will manage project specifications and requirements while managing resource schedules (internal and subcontractors).

What you’ll do:

• Deliver projects in accordance with the Eaton Project Management Model.
• Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders and escalated as required.
• Perform risk management and review with PMO manager to minimize project risks.
• Review financial obligations, time bars, bank guarantees and ensure compliance to those requirements.
• Review and discuss technical challenges and gaps with engineering team and ensure it is addressed promptly.
• Convert commercial and technical gaps to opportunities.
• Coordinate and manage project resources e.g. project coordinator and document controller, effectively and deficiently.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Develop a detailed project plan and schedule to track progress and provide fortnightly updates.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Meets financial objectives by forecasting regularly, updating SAP, and reporting changes to PMO Analyst and PMO manager.
