Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple marine construction projects from planning through to completion.
• Manage programme, budget, procurement, subcontractors and client communication.
• Lead project engineers, supervisors and site crews to safe, efficient delivery.
• Manage risks, variations, claims and key project documentation.

Job description

Step into a key leadership role as Project Manager (Marine) with a growing WA marine construction contractor delivering specialist projects across jetties, marinas, boat ramps, piling, demolition, reef developments and commercial marine infrastructure.

We are seeking a capable Project Manager to oversee planning, delivery and commercial performance across a varied portfolio of marine construction works. Based from the Fremantle head office, you will work closely with clients, engineers, supervisors and field crews to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality project outcomes.

The role

• Manage multiple marine construction projects valued $1m-$10m from planning through to completion
• Oversee programme, budget, procurement, subcontractors, client communication and project reporting
• Lead project engineers, supervisors and site teams to achieve safe and efficient delivery
• Manage risks, variations, claims, approvals and key project documentation
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors
• Support a practical, accountable and delivery-focused team culture

About you

• Project management experience in marine, civil, piling, structural construction environments
• Strong commercial, contractual and programme management capability
• Confident leadership style with the ability to support both office and site teams
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Marine construction experience will be highly regarded
• Existing Australian work rights
