Job summary

Bureau Veritas in Brisbane is seeking a Project Manager to join our Buildings & Infrastructure team, delivering mid to large-scale building and infrastructure projects across Queensland.

You'll manage the full project lifecycle from planning through handover, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and work closely with clients, designers, and contractors to achieve outcomes on time and within budget. A consultancy or client-side background is desirable.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in a related industry role, ideally within a consultancy or client‑side environment.
  • Growing end‑to‑end project experience, with exposure to design, procurement, and/or construction delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with confidence working across diverse teams.
  • Design phase capability—comfortable contributing to and leading design meetings and consultant coordination.
  • Understanding procurement, risk identification, and delivery processes, with a desire to grow into stronger leadership roles.
  • Experience supporting contract administration and contributing to commercial and compliance outcomes.
  • Sound financial and programme awareness, with the ability to track budgets and delivery milestones.
  • Professional, solutions‑focused mindset, strong written communication, and commitment to quality systems.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting end‑to‑end project delivery across design, procurement, construction, and handover.
  • Working client‑side within a consultancy environment on medium to large‑scale building and infrastructure projects.
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams to ensure clarity, accountability, and momentum.
  • Engaging with architects and designers to guide design outcomes aligned with client, program, and budget requirements.

The Role

We’re looking for an ambitious and motivated Project Manager to join our Bureau Veritas – Buildings and Infrastructure team in Brisbane, supporting the delivery of projects that underpin Queensland’s expanding cities, communities, and economy. This is an opportunity to be part of a team contributing to the state’s long‑term growth agenda, from urban densification and social infrastructure through to major commercial and mixed‑use developments.

As a Project Manager, you’ll be involved across the full project lifecycle—from early planning and design through procurement, delivery, and handover. You’ll work closely with clients, designers, contractors, and internal specialists to translate complex ideas into successful, well‑coordinated outcomes.

This role suits someone with experience in the health and aviation industry, ready to step into a broader consulting position—building confidence as a trusted advisor, strengthening leadership capability, and playing an active role in shaping projects that align with Queensland’s infrastructure and development priorities.

What You’ll Be Doing
