Job summary

Aztech Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in hazardous materials and asbestos to lead multiple projects from initiation to completion. You'll build client relationships, oversee safety, budgets and schedules, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that meet regulatory requirements.

This role requires hands-on leadership, proactive risk management, and clear communication with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered

Aztech Services is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. If you're a hands-on leader with a strong background in asbestos and hazardous materials, enjoy building relationships with clients, and know how to deliver projects safely, on time and on budget, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

• Manage multiple hazardous materials and asbestos removal projects from start to finish
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
• Lead project teams to deliver work safely, on time and within budget
• Oversee project costs, financial performance and claim management
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site resources
• Conduct client meetings and provide regular project updates
• Ensure compliance with all industry legislation, regulations and company procedures
• Prepare and review SWMS, site documentation and project reporting
• Drive a strong safety culture across every project

What you'll bring

• Experience managing projects within the hazardous materials or asbestos industry
• Strong knowledge of friable and non-friable asbestos removal, legislation and industry compliance requirements
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing project budgets, cost control and financial outcomes
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support site teams
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a high attention to detail
• An uncompromising commitment to safety

Highly regarded

• 5+ years' Project Management experience
• Background in demolition or strip-out projects
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Experience managing subcontractors and negotiating with suppliers
• Knowledge of older building structures
• Strong commercial acumen and contract awareness
• Experience preparing SWMS and project documentation
• A confident communicator who can lead client meetings and build lasting relationships
