Job summary

Durack Civil is seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong TMR experience to lead major civil infrastructure projects across regional Queensland. This role demands hands-on leadership and end-to-end delivery from inception through commercial closeout.

You will own projects, drive production, manage client expectations and coordinate with engineers, supervisors and subcontractors on site. FIFO/DIDO arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of TMR specifications, contracts and project administration.
• Civil engineering or construction background.
• Experience delivering roadworks, pavements, earthworks, drainage and associated civil works.
• Strong commercial and contractual capability.
• Experience managing projects in regional or remote environments.
• Ability to lead teams and make decisions without constant direction.
• Practical understanding of construction beyond project reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead TMR road and civil infrastructure projects from start to finish.

Durack Civil is looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong TMR experience to lead the delivery of civil infrastructure projects across regional and remote Queensland.

This is not a desk-based PM role.

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of a project, lead the team, manage the client and drive the job commercially and operationally from start to finish.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the overall performance of your project, including:

• Leading TMR road and civil infrastructure projects
• Managing project teams, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
• Programming, planning and driving daily production
• Managing budgets, forecasting and project commercial performance
• Managing variations, EOTs, contractual notices and claims
• Building strong relationships with TMR representatives and contract administrators
• Managing quality, safety and environmental requirements
• Coordinating plant, labour, materials and subcontractors
• Identifying project risks early and solving problems before they become expensive
• Maintaining clear reporting and accountability across the project
• Taking genuine ownership of the result

About You

We’re particularly interested in people who have:
