Sydney | Design & Construct | New Build Projects | $5M–$20M

Our client is an established and highly respected commercial construction company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality Design & Construct, new build, fit-out and refurbishment projects across NSW. With a healthy pipeline of work and continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and deliver a diverse portfolio of commercial projects valued between $5 million and $20 million.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with clients, consultants, site teams and subcontractors to successfully deliver Design & Construct and new build commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of commercial construction projects valued between $5M and $20M.
• Oversee Design & Construct and new build projects from planning through to handover.
• Prepare and manage project programmes, budgets and financial reporting.
• Lead procurement activities and manage subcontractor and supplier performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with quality, safety and contractual requirements.
• Mentor and support project delivery teams throughout the construction lifecycle.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the commercial construction industry.
• Demonstrated success delivering New Build and Design & Construct projects valued between $5M and $20M.
• Experience delivering projects within the healthcare, education and commercial sectors.
• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge with excellent financial management skills.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Project Manager in the Australian building construction industry.
• Experience with Procore, Hammertech, MS Project, and MS Excel is preferred.
