Alimaster designs, fabricates and installs architectural aluminium — balustrades, batten and perforated screens, awnings, sunhoods, fencing, gates and custom pergolas — for builders and developers from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast. Our factory and office are in Caboolture, and our projects range from multi-storey apartments, social housing and schools to prestige residential.
You're not a cog.
We're a tight team. You report directly to our Operations Manager — no layers, no committees. Decisions get made in a conversation, not a meeting series.
The systems already exist.
You'll start with a written PM procedure, a site-measure checklist and clear lines of who does what. You won't be inventing the process while also running ten jobs.
Real authority.
You run your installer program. You own your sites.
Everything is under one roof.
Our draftsman, CNC/fabrication and welding team are 20 metres from your desk. When something needs changing, you walk out to the shed and sort it.
You'll make things nobody else can.
Curved balustrades and custom architectural work are our specialty — this isn't kit-and-cut.
Take projects from estimating handover through submittals, engineering and client approvals
Lead site measures and get drawings right before we cut metal
Procure external supplier items and keep SWMS and site safety paperwork current
Program and coordinate our installers; work with the Operations Manager on shed scheduling and material readiness
Be the face of Alimaster on site — builder meetings, site walks, access, cranes, scaffold sequencing
Manage variations; confirm completed work for monthly progress claims
Close out jobs properly: compliance docs, defects and warranty
The right person walks onto a site and is already asking:
Is this slab post-tensioned, and what's buried in it before we core-drill?
Has the render or tile gone on yet, and what will that do to my measurements?
When does the scaffold come down, and is it level by level or one elevation at a time?
Will that hood clear the scaffold, or do we need an EWP?
Where do we unload, where do we store it, and when do we get the crane?
What has the builder promised that isn't on the drawings?
What's going to stop my installers on Monday, and can I fix it today?
If you're already thinking like this, you'll fit right in.
You might be an experienced PM, or a strong site supervisor or experiences installer ready to step up. What matters is that you:
Have delivered projects in construction — metalwork, facades, glazing, steel, fencing, fit-out or similar
Can read architectural and shop drawings and spot what's missing
Can run multiple jobs at once without dropping the ball
Talk straight with builders, and back yourself to make a call
Understand variations, programs and how a job makes or loses money
Hold a current driver's licence and White Card
Experience with aluminium fabrication, site installation or AutoCad is a bonus. Salary within the range will reflect your experience.
$130,000 – $165,000 + super, depending on experience
Company vehicle and fuel card
Performance bonus
Phone and laptop
Some flexibility around your day when site allows
A business with documented systems and a short line to the people who make decisions
