Job summary

DT Infrastructure is expanding its South Australia Rail Team with an experienced Project Manager responsible for delivering multiple rail contracts. You will drive project planning, procurement, budgets and subcontractor performance while upholding HSE and quality standards.

You will lead project teams, manage stakeholder expectations and report on progress, ensuring on-time handover and financial objectives across our projects in South Australia.

Qualifications

• Prior programming and planning experience.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or similar.
• Track Safe Working Certification or ability to obtain.
• Driver’s Licence required.
• First Aid Training preferred.
• Must be medically fit to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of rail infrastructure projects and contracts, achieving safety, quality, schedule, and financial targets.
• Develop and maintain strong client, supplier and subcontractor relationships and manage stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and rail industry requirements through proactive risk management and site leadership.
• Manage project planning, procurement, budgets, resources and subcontractor performance to deliver on time and budget.
• Provide leadership to project teams and foster a high-performance culture through coaching and communication.
• Monitor progress, quality and compliance, preparing reports and implementing corrective actions.

DT Infrastructure is growing our South Australia Rail Team. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, who holds single point accountability for the successful delivery of all projects and/or contracts under their control. Success is measured across HSE, commercial, financial, program and quality outcomes compared with Client and DTI requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the successful delivery of rail infrastructure projects and contracts, ensuring achievement of safety, quality, schedule, commercial and financial objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong client, supplier and subcontractor relationships, managing stakeholder expectations and promoting long-term business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and rail industry requirements through proactive risk management, site leadership and continuous safety improvement initiatives.
• Manage project planning, procurement, budgets, resources and subcontractor performance to deliver projects on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, performance management, workforce development and effective communication.
• Monitor project progress, quality and compliance outcomes, preparing accurate reports and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and achieve successful project handover.

Experience and capabilities

• Prior programming and planning experience.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or similar
• Appropriate Track Safe Working Certification & / or ability to obtain
• Hold a valid Driver’s License
• It is preferable for this position to have completed First Aid Training
• This position must be medically fit to perform duties
