Council is seeking Project Manager to join our Engineering, Assets and Projects team. As the project manager you will build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders to understand and manage risk, and influence sustainable outcomes on projects through the development and implementation of the project delivery framework. The primary focus of the project manager will be on our infrastructure works, however they will also assist with project management across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Managing the process of development, tendering, awarding and administration of professional service
• Building and maintaining effective working relationships and collaborating with stakeholders
• Leading the investigation, design, estimating and procurement processes for projects to deliver Council’s objectives
• Typically, the value of the projects you will be responsible for will range from $500K up to $7M

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.

What we offer you

We offer a salary starting at $83,985 - $107,510 gross per annum plus 12% superannuation. The starting salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the position.
