The Project Delivery Branch within the Infrastructure & Natural Assets Department plays a critical role in delivering capital works projects that support the Sunshine Coast’s growth, liveability and sustainability. Working across a diverse portfolio of infrastructure initiatives, the branch partners with stakeholders across Council and the community to turn strategic priorities into lasting outcomes that benefit residents and visitors alike.
As Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of priority capital works projects from concept through to completion. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse range of infrastructure projects, provide expert project management advice, and work with internal and external stakeholders to achieve high-quality, best-value outcomes for the Sunshine Coast region. Your work will directly contribute to the development of one of Australia’s most sustainable and thriving communities.
You hold tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Planning or a related discipline, with proven experience delivering complex infrastructure and capital works projects from concept to completion.
You bring strong expertise in project planning, procurement, contract management, budgeting, forecasting and risk management, with the ability to keep multiple projects on track while achieving quality, cost and timeframe objectives.
You understand the complexities of working within a government or similarly regulated environment and can confidently apply legislative, policy, governance and compliance requirements to project delivery.
You are a collaborative leader and skilled communicator who builds strong relationships, prepares high-quality project and tender documentation, and influences positive outcomes with stakeholders, consultants, contractors and the community.
