Job summary

Siteforce Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Manager with Civil and Commercial Construction expertise to lead projects across Mackay, Whitsunday Regions and Queensland.

The role requires proven project management experience, strong leadership, and the ability to manage budgets, risks and regulatory compliance. Local candidates are preferred or willing to relocate; immediate start and a competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Civil operator tickets and/or PM qualifications/experience required.
• 2–5 years' experience as Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Valid White Card (Construction Induction).
• Strong understanding of WHS and site compliance requirements.
• Local candidates preferred or willing to relocate to Mackay & Whitsunday Regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution activities.
• Manage budgets, risks, and resources to ensure project success.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Implement quality control and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.

The Role

What You Will Need

• Civil operator machinery tickets and/or Project Management qualifications/experience
• Minimum 2-5 years' experience as a Site Supervisor or Project Manager
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Valid White Card (Construction Induction)
• Strong understanding of WHS and site compliance requirements
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Reliable, organised, and safety-focused
• Local candidates preferred, or candidates willing to relocate at their own expense and be based in the Mackay & Whitsunday Regions

$150,000 - $180,000 annual (depends on experience)
