Job summary

Brunel is partnering with a well-established civil contractor delivering major land development and infrastructure projects in South East Queensland. Brunel is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Ipswich region team to take ownership from planning through to completion.

You will lead programming, resourcing, subcontractors and client/stakeholder coordination to drive safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery across urban and industrial works.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil construction.
• Strong background delivering urban and industrial civil projects, including land development and associated infrastructure.
• Sound commercial, contractual and financial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own project programming and construction methodologies across site works.
• Manage project resourcing, subcontractors and procurement.
• Lead project teams through delivery and changes to project scope.
• Monitor project financial performance, monthly assessments and forecasts.
• Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and project standards.

You'll take ownership of projects from planning and programming through to completion, working closely with site teams, subcontractors, clients and internal stakeholders to drive safe, efficient and commercially successful delivery.

Profile

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil construction
• Strong background delivering urban and industrial civil projects, including land development and associated infrastructure
• Sound commercial, contractual and financial management skills
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, programming and project delivery
• Proven ability to lead project teams and manage subcontractors
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Civil Engineering or Construction Management qualification preferred
• White Card and full Australian working rights
